The food is just a poem. We have now picked up food every week and therefore tried the menu once and it tasted great every time. Kudos to the kitchen!

It was my first time here and I have to say it is a great location with a good kitchen and creative variations of Franconian cuisine as well as alternatives for vegetarians. Good service and quality is quite good. A clear recommendation

It is very good to eat a 5 star deer, veal steak with onion (Zwiebel Rostbraten), goose breast with apple (Gansbrust), wild boar steak with asparagus and mashed potato (Wildschweinbraten) and the salad is not even mentioned.

I was torn. Service was very friendly. My friend's Sauerbraten was delicious. I had the boletus risotto with goose liver. It had little rice and a lot of liver. I would have preferred it the other way around. Well, that's just a subjective preference of mine. The problem was: the liver was not tough, but not as tender and soft as I know it from elsewhere. And if there is a Michelin sticker at the entrance, I think I can expect that too. Conclusion: The bottom line is that everything is probably very tasty, except for the one dish I had.

Perfect service, very courteous for the hiker, wonderful view, great cozy place! Really 5 service points, especially when a party is expected and everyone is under stress, warm and practical!

Great hotel and hotel room. My shovel from the restaurant was great! The breakfast was adequate from the selection and you the fresh egg dishes are offered are also great.
